Forget dreaming about what your washing machine will be able to do in the future – because the future has already arrived with this new small sized washing machine which works without electricity!
The Drumi is a foot powered hollow ball in a sealed drum, which can hold up to five litres of water and a couple of small garments.
Who’s It For?
It was developed specifically for people to wash their delicate laundry in rather than to take it to the laundromat and risk damaging or losing their garments. Simply open the lid and pop your clothes inside, along with the water and washing liquid, then push the foot pedal up and down to spin the ball.
The small lightweight size of The Drumi makes it perfect for homes where space is limited, as well as a great piece of camping equipment. It can be used as a laundry hamper in the bathroom and when it is full, pedalling for only five minutes will give you a clean load of washing which is ready for hand wringing and drying!
A & A Plastic Strip Curtains
Looks like a good gadget for multi-tasking some exercise with washing your clothes. With more apartments springing up in Perth, there could be a market for this.
I think some people would take this camping!
If you’re not fussed about camping then here are some ideas to spend more time enjoying your own yard.
